Applying for accommodation as a London postgraduate student

If you've received an offer to study as a London postgraduate student, you can register for accommodation on the London campus from mid-February. Accommodation can be reserved online once you have met the conditions of your academic offer.

If you are a London postgraduate student starting your course in October, we recommend that you apply for a room in Stratford One halls of residence. We're here to guide you through the process and support you every step of the way.

Step one - Register

From mid-February you will be able to register on the Accommodation Hub. Our online reservation system will guide you through the short registration process. You will receive a confirmation email when you have registered your account.

Step two - Reserve your accommodation

Once you have met the conditions of your offer for your postgraduate course, you can reserve your accommodation at Stratford One. If you have an unconditional offer, you can book now.

Stratford One offers a great environment to study and has a strong community of Loughborough London students. You can find out more information about Stratford One and view photos of this luxury accommodation before you reserve your room.

To reserve a room, select either a basic en-suite or classic en-suite room in Stratford One.

When you select a room, it will be held for 15 minutes for you to complete the reservation. If you do not complete the reservation in that time, it will be released, and you will need to select a room again.

Reserve your accommodation

Step three - Confirm your accommodation and agree to the contract

Once you have reserved a room online, you have 5 days to review and accept the offer.

To confirm your room and accept your contract, you will need to enter your login username and password that you created when you registered your account. By accepting the contract, you will be entering into a legally binding agreement with the University - your landlord.

You will be sent an email confirming your contract via the email address you specified on your University application. It's important that you:

  • Confirm your room by accepting the terms and conditions and online contract.
  • Complete the online induction and book your arrival slot (available from late August).
