Welcome to the Counselling Service

Abstract artwork

Welcome to the University Counselling Service, part of the Student Services Department

The Counselling Service is here to help students and staff with a variety of problems such as anxiety, depression, relationships, life coaching issues, problems with your course, homesickness, eating disorders, cultural issues, bereavement, loss, suicidal feelings etc. Counselling is a process of helping you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and doing this usually brings relief and may enable you to make some changes in your life, or deal more effectively with things that can't be changed. The Counsellors are professionally qualified and accredited in Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to the highest levels of confidentiality of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
