Background

Throughout Connor's degree, he has worked on projects focussing on the hand-eye calibration of a robot using a laser profile scanner, and the full kinematic calibration of an industrial robot using a motion capture system. During 2019, Connor started an industrial placement year working with Gill Research & Development as a Manufacturing Engineer, where he was responsible for their research line of anemometers.

In 2021 Connor started his PhD in Robot Metrology with Dr Peter Kinnell
