Dr Khaoula AIT BELAID is a Research Associate in the School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering (MEME) at Loughborough University, UK. She received her BSc degree in Physics with specialization in “Computer Science, Electronic, Electro-technique, Automation” (2012), MSc degree in Electrical Engineering (2014), and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunication (January 2020) from Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco.  

Her research interests during her PhD included Electronics, Microelectronics, CMOS Technology, and Electromagnetic Compatibility of Embedded Systems, while she is currently working on Healthcare Technology.  

Her current research focuses on healthcare technology. The objective of her research is to make a real difference to the life of elderly people living with frailty by proposing sensors and electronic systems to objectively assess physical parameters related to frailty.
