Heini Taskula is a Technical Tutor in the Fashion Design and Technology Department. Prior to joining Loughborough University in 2023, Heini was a Technical Instructor in Fashion Design at De Montfort University Leicester for over 9 years. Her areas of expertise are garment construction and pattern cutting.
As a Technical Tutor, Heini manages the running of the Fashion Design and Technology workshops, delivering primarily in the Fashion Design and Technology program.
Prior to Heini’s teaching roles, she had design & technical roles in the fashion industry in Finland & the UK which have given her a valuable insight into the demands of this sector.
