Profile

Helen has been an artist for over 20 years, selling and exhibiting her work, following a career in university administration.

She first studied at Loughborough University 2012-2013, completing an MA in Art & Design (Studio Practice). Her focus at that time was jewellery design but she went on to explore textiles, designing and selling luxury scarves.

Her work and focus have now shifted to engaging directly with collage as art practice and she is now pursuing a Practice-based PhD cutting and gluing her way to consider the question 'Is there an 'I' in Posthuman - how can collage explore human agency in a posthuman world?'

Supervisors: Dr Ahren Warner, Dr Eleanor Morgan.
