Connecting to the campus network

Loughborough University provides a wired and wireless service for students and staff. There are over 5500 Wi-Fi access points across campus in both internal and external locations. Guest Wi-Fi is available for non-academic visitors.

eduroam - Wi-Fi & wired network

Extensive Wi-Fi coverage on campus via eduroam (education roaming) – this is the main Wi-Fi and wired network available to staff and students; it is unlimited, and accessible across campus and in halls.

HallNet - Smart devices and Games Consoles in Halls

This is the wired service in halls of residence. The 'Hallnet' Wi-Fi network is only available for wireless smart devices (Amazon Alexa, Google products etc.) which are not capable of connecting to eduroam and is only available in halls of residence.
