The Glendonbrook Centre for Enterprise Development

What we teach

At a curriculum level, The Glendonbrook Centre for Enterprise Development provides formal modules in enterprise & innovation management, entrepreneurship and small business planning for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students.  A number of student entrepreneurs use this opportunity to work on their own ideas and refine their business plans.  The popularity of these modules is growing as more and more students wish to increase their employability skills.

Support for undergraduate and postgraduate students is also provided through stand-alone specialist enterprise workshops and courses.  As well as using its own staff to deliver these sessions, the Centre regularly draws its extensive network of business experts and its close links with the Careers Network and the Pilkington library.

We also provide enterprise education for our staff, particularly our academic researchers through access to first-rate CPD in enterprise and innovation management.
