Simon graduated from Loughborough University in 2017 with a BEng in Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering before joining the CDT in Embedded Intelligence.
Title of thesis: The Production and Detection of Ultrasound in Metastable Polymers
The high-level aims of the PhD project are to develop manufacturing processes to produce cellular solid structures reinforced with carbon fibre more efficiently. The project is sponsored by Far-UK.
