Micro magic!: Tiny capsules that transform in the blink of an eye could be key to developing smaller electronics that don’t overheat

Researchers at Loughborough University, led by Dr. Goran Vladisavljevic, have developed microcapsules filled with phase change materials (PCMs) that absorb heat and prevent electronic devices from overheating. The innovative, Lego-inspired production process creates uniform microcapsules using UV light, offering potential applications in cooling smartphones, laptops, batteries, and solar energy generators.
