Victoria is a building scientist at the Building Safety Regulator, where she leads on technical policies for energy efficiency, overheating and ventilation in new and existing homes. She was a lead author for the recent Building Regulations consultations on these areas and was the lead author for Approved Documents L, F and O 2021.
She manages and directs research projects on building performance and develops technical policies using a wide range of evidence sources. She is currently working on the development of the Future Homes Standard.
Victoria was awarded her PhD from Loughborough University where she was researching the energy efficiency and overheating potential of buildings in the existing housing stock.
