Terms of Reference

A sub-committee of Operations Committee with responsibility for the implementation of the transparent approach to costing (TRAC) methodology and compliance with relevant guidance.

(i) To review in detail the University’s annual TRAC return including the underlying methodologies and data collection mechanisms.

(ii) To benchmark and evaluate the University’s performance in relation to sector activity.

(iii) To ensure that the University’s transparent approach to costing complies with relevant HEFCE guidance.

(iv) To recommend the University’s annual TRAC return to Operations Committee and Council for approval.

(v) To report regularly to Operations Committee.
