Performance

A special performance from our 2023/24 arts scholars featuring a variety of live music, dance, art and readings.

About this event

Join us for this year's Arts Scholars’ Showcase, which features the nine scholarship winners for 2023/24. This year's winners come from a variety of subject areas and backgrounds with a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Their art forms include creative writing, music, dance and drama.

Each of the arts scholars has received financial support to help them develop their practice over the course of the year and this is a wonderful opportunity to bear witness to the hard work they have put in. The concert is always a fantastic celebration of our students' talent and creativity and will feature short pieces from their repertoire.

Refreshments will be provided and will be served in the Martin Hall foyer from 5-5.30pm. Booking essential.

The 2023/24 scholars are:

Aziz - Creative writing (poetry)

Alizée Cambier - Creative writing (short story)

Yun Chen - Visual arts (photography)

Amy Jennison-Boyle - Music (piano and vocal)

Riddhi Naik - Performing arts (dance)

Vera Okodugha - Visual arts (ceramics)

Eliana Rosas Aguilar - Music (vocal)

Ray Shin - Music (oboe)

Serene Stuart-Ranchev - Visual arts (Animation, Illustration and Design)
