Loughborough University actively encourages students to gain an international experience.
Students can do this through a study exchange or through a work placement outside of the UK. In both cases the opportunity to gain insight into another culture, broaden experience and develop both intellectual and personal maturity, is invaluable.
European or international partner universities. Students might spend one semester at their study exchange location or a full academic year, depending on what their degree course at Loughborough can accommodate. The majority of our partner universities offer modules taught in English, so language skills need not be a barrier to going on a study exchange.

Loughborough University currently participates in the Erasmus+ programme, which enables students on a European study exchange or work placement to apply for an Erasmus+ mobility grant. Please note that the United Kingdom’s future participation in the Erasmus+ programme is contingent on Brexit negotiations.
