Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance

Prior to travelling

Before you travel to Loughborough (either on the morning of your visit day or the day before), you and your guest should take a lateral flow test. Additionally, if any member of the household is showing symptoms of coronavirus, is self-isolating or is currently awaiting the results of a PCR test, please do not attend the event.

Anybody with a positive test should not travel to the University to attend the event. Information about how to obtain home testing kits can be found on the UK government website. If you have had a PCR test within the same timeframe, this will be acceptable in lieu of a lateral flow test.

If you are travelling to the UK from overseas, please adhere to the latest UK government guidance in relation to testing and quarantining.

To maintain adequate social distancing, we are carefully monitoring the number of people that we allow to our events. Please do not bring additional guests with you on the day that are not included in your booking to attend the day.

Once you are on campus

When entering University buildings, unless you have a medical exemption, we will request that you and your guest wear a face covering, please bring these with you. We would like you to also observe social distancing throughout your time on campus where possible.

There will be numerous hand sanitizing units placed around the campus. Please make use of these as you enter and exit our buildings.

By following the above, you will be ensuring that you, the people that accompany you to Loughborough, and the University staff delivering your post-offer visit day are all kept as safe as possible.

Thank you for your co-operation.
