Length of time in engineering

With over 12 years of experience, I currently work as a Principal Structural Engineer with my current employer. I thoroughly enjoy my current role, and the problem solving involved.

I find working part of a team to solve engineering challenges, fun and rewarding. Solving problems through collaborating with others, makes the job very social and enjoyable. From working with others I constantly learn a great deal, which has helped me improve and learn about the roles of other professional in the team.

I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some great engineers, who have constantly pushed me to learn and expand my skills set. I have also been fortunate enough to work on whole variety of, structures, materials, and sectors, and therefore have a good balance of experience.
