Your Voice, Your Impact competition
Throughout January, we’ll be running two competitions with some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including a Gold Loughborough Sport membership (worth £320) for two lucky winners, and four £50 Deliveroo vouchers for runners up.
Our first competition runs until midnight on Friday 16 January. All you need to do is share an image with us of what being part of Team Loughborough means to you. It could be a favourite spot on campus, a social event with friends, getting involved in sport or more, it’s up to you!
Send your images to us by email with a short paragraph explaining what your picture represents. We ask that no AI generated imagery is used.
We’ll randomly pick a winner to receive the Gold Loughborough Sport membership and two runners up to receive £50 Deliveroo vouchers. Terms and conditions apply.
Please be aware that we may use your image on our social media accounts, in our student newsletter or via our other student channels.

Terms and Conditions
For the purpose of this Competition the Promoter means: Loughborough University of Epinal Way, Loughborough, LE11 3TU.
1. Eligibility
- Loughborough University prize draw competitions are open only to Loughborough University students as at the time of the competition opening.
- Employees of Loughborough University, its affiliates or participating companies are not eligible to enter unless specified in communications.
- By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Failure to comply with any part of this clause will disqualify the respective entry from the competition.
2. Competition Structure and Entry Requirements
- The competition consists of two rounds (each a separate competition).
- The first competition round requires entrants to submit an image that represents what it means to them to be part of Team Loughborough.
- The second competition round requires entrants to submit a nomination of a member of the Loughborough University community who has had a positive impact on the entrant.
- A valid entry for Round 1 consists of an image submitted by the entrant in accordance with clause 2.2.
- A valid entry for Round 2 consists of a nomination submitted by the entrant in accordance with clause 2.3.
- All entries must be submitted by email to notifications@lboro.ac.uk and must be received by the time and date specified in the competition communications (UK time).
- Only entries submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be accepted. Entries received after the stated closing date and time will not be considered.
3. Winner Eligibility
Entrants who have won a prize will not be entered into future draws.
4. Promoter Discretion
The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entries for any reason at its sole discretion.
5. Limitation of Liability
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, damaged, corrupted, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, the promoter’s liability under or in connection with the prize draw competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the prize in question.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, the promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the prize draw competition or any prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
6. Data Protection
- Personal data provided by entrants (including names, email addresses and any other information submitted as part of an entry) will be processed by Loughborough University for the purposes of administering the competition, selecting and contacting the winner(s), and supporting the related campaign.
- Personal data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and the University’s Data Protection Policy and Privacy Notice, available at:
- Entrants may exercise their data protection rights, including the right to request deletion of their personal data, in accordance with the Loughborough University Privacy Notice.
7. Prize Non Transferability/Substitution
Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
8. Promoter Right to Modify or Cancel
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
9. Winner Selection and Notification
Winner(s) will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the closing date. The promoter’s decision is final in all matters relating to the prize draw, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Confirmation of the prize draw winner will only be from an official Loughborough University social media account or email address. Please be aware of any other social media accounts or email addresses claiming to be involved in our prize draws.
10. Publication of Winner Details
By entering the competition, entrants acknowledge and agree that, if selected as a winner, their Instagram username may be posted on the @lborouniversity Instagram account for the purposes of announcing the winner and promoting the competition.
11. Intellectual Property
Copyright in each entry remains with the entrant. By entering the competition, entrants grant Loughborough University a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish and display the entry for the purposes of administering and promoting the competition and supporting related University marketing and engagement campaigns excluding commercial use.
12. General
- The Promoter reserves all rights relating to the administration of the competition. The Promoter may amend, update or supplement these terms and conditions at any time if circumstances require it, with or without notice.
- The Promoter’s decisions regarding all aspects of the competition are final and binding. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These terms and conditions and the competition prize draw are governed by English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
