PsycARTICLES is a collection of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, and allied partners such as the Canadian Psychological Association. The database covers general psychology and applied, clinical and theoretical research in psychology.

PsycINFO is an indexing and abstracting database summarising journal articles, dissertations, book chapters, books and technical reports from 1887 to the present. The content centres on psychology and the behavioural and social sciences, drawing content from peer-reviewed journals. The database has global coverage and virtually all the content from 1995 onwards contain abstracts.

Science Direct provides full-text access to Elsevier journals and books, including reference works and encyclopaedias. Some of the digital archives go as far back as 1823. Subject coverage is mainly in the fields of life sciences and medicine but there is also coverage of social sciences, psychology, business and finance.

The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases that contain different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. The databases are particularly useful in health and life sciences. Databases available are: Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews – full text access to systematic reviews conducted by Cochrane groups. Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials – collected abstracts of randomised clinical trials. Cochrane Clinical Answers – quick access information entailing a clinical question, a brief answer and links to information from relevant Cochrane reviews.

Scopus is an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: academic journals, books and conference proceedings. Scopus is a comprehensive resource covering chemistry, physics, mathematics and engineering; life and health sciences; social sciences, psychology, business and economics; arts and humanities and biological and environmental sciences. It also includes the Geobase database.

Covers a wide variety of disciplines including engineering, sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. Search features include cited reference searching allowing you to discover who has referenced a particular work since it was published.
