Interactive Exhibition
Visitors experienced research like never before at this year’s Summer Showcase Interactive Exhibition. Several doctoral researchers brought their work to life through hands-on activities, immersive demonstrations, and creative artefacts that sparked curiosity and conversation.

Bibi was awarded Winner of the Interactive Exhibition and also received the People’s Choice Award for her engaging and beautifully presented exhibit: Textile Through Time.
Danielle Vaughan - Runner-Up
Danielle was named Runner-Up, recognised for the creativity and impact of her interactive display: Paperpeutic Playtime.

From exploring innovative tools and techniques to engaging with artistic and technological outputs, attendees were invited to dive into the heart of each research project. The exhibition offered something for everyone - whether it was tactile, visual, or thought-provoking - and encouraged active participation throughout.
As guests journeyed through the exhibits, they also had the opportunity to vote for their favourite interactive experience, helping to celebrate the most captivating and engaging research on display.

Many ideas to disseminate research
(...) from posters to short talks, to video vlogs. I would like to have a go over the coming months at all of these so that I can create a portfolio of my work and also learn to concisely talk about the work that I do.”
