Competition
Doctoral researchers were invited to step beyond the written word and express their research through powerful visual storytelling. Whether through digital design, photography, drawing, collage, or mixed media, each submission captured the essence of a research journey in a single, striking image.
This wasn’t just a display, it was a celebration of imagination, insight, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in creative and accessible ways. The gallery sparked conversations, inspired curiosity, and offered a fresh perspective on the diverse research taking place across the university.
A huge congratulations to all of our presenters for their thoughtful, bold, and inspiring contributions and for engaging so enthusiastically with visitors throughout the day.

A great opportunity to network
It was a key bonding exercise where I met colleagues I would not encounter through 'work' in any other way, reinforcing the importance of taking part. Huge thanks – it was truly a fantastic event and I’ll treasure it.”
