Library

The Library offers a range of support and resources for doctoral researchers at various stages of their work.

Open Research Collective

The Library Open Research Team supports the visibility and discoverability of Loughborough's research outputs. We also support and advise on copyright questions and research data management.

International Student Experience Team

The International Student Experience team helps international students feel welcome, supported, and part of the Loughborough community. They organise events, transition programmes, provide advice, and work closely with students to enhance their university experience outside the classroom.

Wellbeing Team

Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity (SWAI) provide support to all students and Doctoral Researchers including support with Mental Health, Wellbeing, Disability and Long Term Health.

PhD Social and Support Network (SSN)

A student-led initiative with support from the Doctoral College that aims to foster connection, support & collaboration among doctoral researchers. Through social events, peer support & networking opportunities, SSN creates a welcoming space for PGRs to engage share experiences, and thrive!

Academic Language Support Service

The Academic Language Support Service offers academic language and study skills support for all students. They provide help to communicate clearly, engage critically with ideas, understand academic expectations, and use appropriate academic language.

LU Inc. – Loughborough University’s Business Incubator

LU Inc. brings together academic & graduate entrepreneurs with founders from across the region to build a vibrant start-up community. Based at the Science and Enterprise Park, LU Inc. offers co-working space, expert mentoring, tailored training, and access to funding & innovation support.
