Code of Practice on Research Degree Programmes
This Code of Practice (effective 1 Oct 2021) has been prepared by the Research Committee in order to assist doctoral researchers, supervisors, directors of doctoral programmes and examiners. It applies to all higher degrees by research, and should be read in conjunction with Regulation XXVI, with appropriate paragraphs referenced throughout.
The Code must be complied with unless the Doctoral College Office has agreed that an exception may be made. The Office provides advice and guidance on the interpretation of the Regulation and the Code to support a high quality and consistent experience for doctoral researchers.
