Profile

My research is focused on nostalgia and exploring whether the emotional experience can be used as a tool to improve professional athletes' wellbeing, motivation and performance.

I completed my undergraduate degree in BSc Psychology at the University of Southampton in 2022, and have been a professional cyclist for the past 5 years. The world of professional sport is often a cruel place, of which I have first hand experience. The challenges I have faced have made me very passionate about my research area, and I place a lot of importance on formulating strategies to enhance athlete performance through the development of a positive wellbeing.

As we say in the cycling world - a happy head means fast legs!
