Imogen Dhanda is a doctoral researcher in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Loughborough University. Her research focuses on developing an inclusive coaching framework to support the psychological development of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within community sport settings.
Imogen holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science from Nottingham Trent University and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University. Her academic work explores the intersection of psychology, inclusion, and sport participation, with her previous dissertations investigating inclusivity in physical education and the applicability of the 5Cs coaching framework for youth with autism spectrum disorder.
Alongside her studies, Imogen has extensive experience working as a SEND support worker and sports coach with Mencap, where she promotes inclusive participation and wellbeing through physical activity.
