Profile

Hanoof Aljohani is an exercise physiologist and strength & conditioning specialist, pursuing a PhD at Loughborough University. Her research investigates the physiological mechanisms underpinning health, performance, and deconditioning, and the development of novel low-intensity interventions to optimise health, performance, and rehabilitation in high-performance contexts and clinical medicine. During her PhD, she focuses on blood-flow-restriction (BFR) exercise as a practical low-load approach to improve outcomes in deconditioned populations, including individuals with COPD.
