Adam holds a BA in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology from the University of Warwick. Before starting his PhD, he worked as a Research Assistant at Nottingham Trent University on a variety of projects exploring psychosocial wellbeing and outcomes across diverse populations, including clinical, community, and forensic settings.
His PhD research investigates psychosocial wellbeing and patient-reported outcomes in people living with hepatic Glycogen Storage Disease (GSD) and their families. Using a mixed-methods approach, his research aims to deepen understanding of the lived experience of this rare metabolic condition and inform more holistic, patient-centred care.
Adam’s broader interests focus on the interaction between physical and mental health and improving outcomes by centring the experiences and perspectives of patients and families.
