Taylor completed her BSc at Loughborough University in 2024, before continuing her studies at Loughborough and completing an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology in 2025. Alongside her academic work, she has gained broad experience in sports coaching through sustained involvement in gymnastics and a placement year within youth sport environments.
Building on her MSc research, which examined wellbeing within gymnastics, and her experience as the Welfare Officer for the AU Gymnastics Club, Taylor is now working with Professor Daniel Rhind as a Research Assistant on "Project STEP Change: Safeguarding The Elite Pathway for Children".
Taylor is currently working with Professor Daniel Rhind on "Project STEP Change: Safeguarding The Elite Pathway for Children", funded by the Oak Foundation, to support improvements in safeguarding practices and leadership across global football.
