This project aims to revolutionise museum design by creating spaces that adapt dynamically to visitors’ behaviour. Using advanced spatial analytics, artificial intelligence, and agent-based modeling, we predict how visitors move through open indoor spaces such as museums. These predictions are used to adjust the physical and sensory environment, ensuring that exhibits are optimally visible, accessible, and engaging for every individual. Our approach envisions a museum where exhibits and environmental elements can reconfigure in real time to enhance each visitor’s journey. Each component of the museum is modelled as an autonomous agent capable of responding to predicted visitor movement. High-resolution visibility analysis, coupled with movement prediction, informs how and when each agent should adapt.
