The workshop covers the latest developments in high-Z sensor fabrication and characterisation, encouraging discussion between researchers from around the world.

Max presented a poster "Characterisation and Comparison of High- and Low-Flux CdZnTe". This research is focused on investigating the properties of this detector material, and its applicability for next generation light sources. The poster presented photoluminescence measurements, which can determine some of the fundamental differences between the materials, alongside measurements of the stability of pixelated sensors under high flux X-ray irradiation. Combined this helps us better understand how material properties effect detector performance.
