On February 11, we join the global celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, recognising the remarkable contributions of women shaping the future of radiotherapy and oncology.

Some members of the ARAMP group were featured in ESTRO’s special tribute on social media, highlighting the dedication and impact of women in the field. With over 70 inspiring photos submitted by institutions worldwide, this initiative showcases the passion and expertise driving innovation in science.

Despite women representing only 33.3% of researchers globally (UNESCO), efforts like these emphasise the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEM.

We thank everyone who contributed to this initiative and are excited to continue advocating a diverse and inclusive community in which all voices are heard and valued.

Let’s continue to inspire future generations of scientists!
