The meeting brought together leading researchers, clinicians , industry professionals, and students to discuss advances in imaging radiation detectors and their translation into clinical practice.
Raza presented his recent work, “Custom Monte Carlo Model to Simulate the Spectroscopic Performance of CsPbBr₃-based Perovskite Detectors,” highlighting how these emerging materials offer significant potential as room-temperature semiconductor detectors. His presentation demonstrated how simulation tools can guide the optimisation of perovskite detector design and explored their possible future applications in medical imaging, including compact SPECT systems and low-dose X-ray technologies.
The event also provided Raza with valuable opportunities for networking with experts in the field.
