University staff and members of the Loughborough community are invited to nominate students for the following awards:
Sir Robert Martin University Prize and Achievement Prize
The Prize consists of an award of £2,000 plus a commemorative medal and may be awarded annually to an outstanding University student for a combination of both academic and non-academic achievement. In addition to the Sir Robert Martin University Prize, a Sir Robert Martin Achievement Prize to the value of £1500 may be awarded annually to an outstanding student for both academic and non-academic achievement, but not to the Sir Robert Martin University Prize winner.

Hannah Community Prize
A prize to the total value of £250 may be awarded to Loughborough University students in recognition of acts of kindness or good neighbourliness in the community. The prize may be awarded to an individual student, specific groups of students or student households.

T S Shipman Prizes
Prizes to the value of £250 each may be awarded to Loughborough University students in recognition of acts of kindness or good neighbourliness in the community. Special consideration will be given to students who are considered to have contributed most to the development of co-operation and aid between the University and the local community. The prizes may be awarded to an individual student, specific groups of students or student households.

Mavis Stone Prize for Music
A prize, to the value of £250, to be awarded annually to a student who has been receiving music tuition under the auspices of the university for more than one year, and who is judged to have achieved the greatest improvement in their music.
