Loughborough Lightning is thrilled to announce that 14 of its players will represent their respective nation at the upcoming Women's Six Nations.

The international competition gets underway on Saturday 11 April and sees England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, and Wales compete in a round robin format for the championship crown.

England – who have won the tournament a record 20 times – have called up Lightning’s Daisy Hibbert-Jones, alum Bo Westcombe-Evans, alongside current Loughborough students Lilli Ives Campion, Carmela Morrall, Sadia Kabeya, Haineala Lutui, and Helena Rowland.

Elsewhere, Scotland’s squad also boasts a wealth of Loughborough talent with current student Becky Boyd joining Elis Martin, Anne Young, Leia Brebner Holden, Helen Nelson, and Lucia Scott in its roster.

Wales have also called up uncapped Lightning forward Kendall Waudby. The Loughborough alum is in line to make her full international debut and could be introduced on opening weekend versus Scotland.

The Women's Six Nations runs from Saturday 11 April – Sunday 17 May with every match broadcast live across the BBC (BBC Two, BBC iPlayer, and the BBC Sport website).
