This is the culmination of their work throughout their course and a platform to raise their profile prior to graduating and starting their careers, as well as an opportunity to share their work with family and friends.
LU Arts commissioned four students from SDCA to create a short video charting their progress as they worked towards the installation of their collection for the 2025 exhibition, which was open from 14-18 June. These videos give a fascinating insight into the processes involved and the range of skills and techniques the students have used to complete their collections.

Through immersive environments and performative self-imagery, Liv’s work explores the tension between vulnerability and control, prompting dialogue around consent, trauma, and the gaze.
Yungtong’s major project, Yunique, focuses on making upcycling more accessible and meaningful. It combines a physical toolkit with a digital platform that guides users in transforming garments.
Mya focuses on our visual and haptic experiences, aiming to question the relegation of textiles to merely ornamental and decorative objects.
- Nikky Ruangcharun – Graphic Communication
Nikky is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer working across print, editorial and visual identity. Her practice blends thoughtful research with playful experimentation, often exploring the intersection of personal narrative, place and cultural identity.
