Loughborough University and Halo have agreed a new partnership that will see the technology provider support a number of performance sport programmes across campus.

As part of the two-year deal, Halo will provide front-of-shirt sponsorship for Loughborough Lightning’s women’s football team, Loughborough Students men’s football team, as well as both men's and women’s hockey teams.

The partnership also includes opportunities for Loughborough students to join Halo’s graduate scheme.

Halo has a long-standing history in the sport sector and has recently collaborated with the McLaren Formula 1 Team and Ipswich Town Football Club respectively.

Rich Ellis, Deputy Director of Sport (Head of Sport Commercial Partnerships and Facilities) at Loughborough University, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Halo on board as another key partnership.

“Their track record in sport speaks for itself, and we’re looking forward to collaborating and creating incredible career opportunities for our student community.”

Paul Hamilton, CEO of Halo, said: “Loughborough is known for producing driven, ambitious students, both on and off the pitch. That’s exactly the kind of talent we want to work with.

“We’re proud to support these teams and give students a glimpse of a working culture built on trust, responsibility and long-term growth."
