WHO Global Launch Webinar: New Global Estimates on Adolescent Physical Activity
How active are the world’s adolescents today, and what can we do to create healthier, more active futures for young people?
Please join us for the launch of new WHO global estimates on adolescent physical activity (to be published in The Lancet Global Health), providing the first major update since 2016.
The webinar will feature presentations by Dr Tessa Strain and Dr Fiona Bull on the latest global findings and their implications for policy and practice. Importantly, this event is about more than the data. A panel discussion, moderated by Dr Chris van Tulleken (Professor of Global Health and BBC broadcaster), will bring together perspectives from schools, sport, urban design and active mobility to explore practical solutions and examples of action that can help adolescents be more active in their everyday lives.
