The New Health Challenge
Full title: The New Health Challenge: Physical activity, sedentary behaviour and health in hybrid and remote working.
Remote and hybrid working have transformed the way we work. While this increasingly common way of working offers many benefits, it has also contributed to reduced daily movement and prolonged sitting, with important implications for physical and mental health. This lecture will explore the latest research on physical activity and sedentary behaviour in remote and hybrid workers. We will also discuss practical strategies that individuals and organisations can use to create more active, healthier work environments, including the early findings of an evidence-based intervention developed at Loughborough University to support healthier working habits.
Speakers:
Professor Stacy Clemes, Professor of Active Living and Public Health, Loughborough University.
Dr Lizzie Stamp, Senior Lecturer in Lifestyle Behaviours and Health, Loughborough University.
