Python for Scientific Computing and Artificial Intelligence

A free online Python workshop for all staff, students and alumni at Loughborough University. A free eBook will accompany the workshop, which is highly interdisciplinary. Covers a basic introduction followed by examples in biology, chemistry, data science, economics, engineering, image processing, mathematics, numerical methods, physics and statistics. The final day will concentrate on neural networks and artificial intelligence, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs).

By attending the course, participants will:
