Live Lounge (open mic night)

If you enjoy live music and discovering new artists then come along for a special, laid back evening as best talent from Loughborough University will be presented in an open mic night. Current music scholar Victor Ayodele will be your host on the night. Come along and support our students and experience something special.

Anyone is welcome to attend (18+) but performances are limited to Loughborough University students and staff.

This event is part of Music Month (26 February - 26 March 2025) - a celebration of music on campus with performances, workshops and short courses.

Open mic opportunity

If you're a student and would like to perform at this event then you need to register your interest in advance as there are limited slots available. This event will celebrate the diversity of music on campus so all genres are welcome but, due to the set up on the night, it's only suitable for solo or small group performances. The open mic slots will be managed by the host Victor Ayodele.

Accessibility

The Lounge is on the ground floor of the Union building and there is step free access into the Union. There are gender neutral, accessible toilet facilities. If you have any specific access needs then please let LU Arts know via the booking form or email them via LUArts@lboro.ac.uk.
