(inter)TWINE

Silk cloth with text between reading

(INTER)twine is a group exhibition by six artists connected by a shared passion for textiles, but each with a unique practice.

The final year Fine Art students at Loughborough University have work that spans quilting, wet felting, applique and machine stitching, all used in a new, contemporary way.

The artworks manifest parts of the artists individual identities, how they impact relationships to others and to wider society.

These individual identities are also woven together in a collaborative piece to express the shared journey in curating this exhibition together.
