Fruit Routes: Barefoot Intentions - A Spring Equinox Ceremony

  • 21 March 2025
  • 3pm-5pm
  • Barefoot Orchard

Join Fruit Routes for an afternoon of ritual and ceremony in the Barefoot Orchard. Here there will be a relaxed space for you to make your own herb tea parcels and explore the equinox intentions.

Isabel George (EnviroWomenUK founder) will share her practice in the use of herbs to support you through this transition and Mita Solanky (Fruit Routes artist) will hold the space as you pass through Spring Equinox with our Tree elders.

The Barefoot Orchard is located next to the Paddock and opposite Pilkington library. Look for the Fruit Routes information board near the Geography Weather Station.

This event is free and all are welcome (students, staff and the local community).

Fruit Routes is a trail of edible fruit and nut trees on campus, which everyone is welcome to explore. There are regular events hosted on campus to help you engage with Fruit Routes and connect to nature.

Barefoot Orchard is on level ground but please be aware that there is not a dropped kerb leading directly into this space. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please email in advance Sustainability@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk or LUArts@lboro.ac.uk.
