Diwali Lunch 2026
On behalf of the Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage (REACH) Staff Group, we are delighted to invite you to the University’s Annual Diwali Lunch, taking place at the Village Bar on Wednesday 4 November 2026, from 12pm to 2pm.
Join us as we celebrate Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, with a vibrant feast for the senses. The event will feature a delicious three-course vegetarian and vegan buffet, alongside a guest speaker who will share insights into the significance of Diwali and its celebration of the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
The venue will open at 12 noon, with food served from 12.30pm. While there is no formal dress code, guests are warmly encouraged to wear traditional Indian attire and arrive promptly to make the most of the celebrations.
