Climate and Environment Dialogue: Climate Café

Hazlerigg building with people walking and cycling by with a globe and birds overhead. On a green background with text reading 'Sustainability Week 16-20 March'

A climate café listening circle is a space to come together to speak to our feelings about the climate and other planetary emergencies. Whilst we frequently encounter news about the realities of climate breakdown, conversations about how we feel about this and other planetary crises rarely surface. This can be for many reasons, such as worrying we will upset others, being concerned we don't know enough about the topic to speak, or stigma about being concerned about environmental issues. Yet, without spaces to process our emotions, many of us can feel isolate or bunt out.

Hosted by the Climate & Environment Community, Kathryn Gaffney and Gareth Morgan will be holding a climate cafe drop in for anyone who would value space to reflect on their personal relationship with the climate crisis.
