Celebration of life in honour of Professor Joanna Elizabeth Bullard
This event provides an occasion to celebrate the life of Joanna Bullard, Professor of Physical Geography at Loughborough University, who sadly passed away on 27 October 2025.
The celebration will include an opportunity for colleagues, friends and students to collectively reflect on Professor Bullard's life, listen to tributes, share happy memories and chat and reminisce more informally.
The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) have published an obituary capturing Professor Bullard's outstanding scientific achievements, her exemplary leadership in the discipline and at Loughborough, and her unwavering commitment to students and colleagues.
