I have been teaching Mathematics in secondary schools across the East Midlands for over 25 years, most recently as the Director of Maths across a Multi-Academy Trust. I am also a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) and help lead the East Midlands South Maths Hub, one of the network of 40 Department for Education funded Maths Hubs in England.
I work as part of the enterprise team in the Centre for Mathematical Cognition aiming to bridge any divide by academic research and classroom practice.
