As global industry advances and develops, so does the demand for new and innovative materials. Our range of Masters courses aim to equip students with an advanced knowledge of how to select, combine, process and recycle these materials that are the backbone of industry. In turn, providing students with high-demand skills that are needed to work this strategic and socially important discipline.
Our postgraduate programme offers both full-time and part-time options, providing a wide range of modules that are targeted towards students who intend on working within higher levels of the engineering industry.
In addition to a high proportion of masters projects being sponsored by industry, all our masters courses are accredited by the Institute of Materials Minerals and Mining (IOM3), making it more straight forward for our graduates to satisfy the requirements of the professional qualifications; Chartered Engineer or Chartered Scientist, once they have completed a period in graduate-level employment.
