Peter Hortor

University Teacher

Peter completed a Natural Sciences degree in 2003, focusing on Physics. He entered teaching via the Teachfirst Programme before moving into business for a number of years. A return to teaching saw him teach predominantly A Level Physics, where he became interested in using technology to engage and develop learners.

Peter joined Loughborough University in August 2021. He is the module leader for the Foundation Programme Physics Modules. He teaches on the Part A Core and Laboratory Physics Modules and FYF322 within the School of Mechanical Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering.
