Our courses

Why choose Loughborough?

Professional accreditation

Our long-established degrees are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and they are very well regarded by employers. Graduates from an accredited engineering course will have achieved part or all of the underpinning knowledge for later professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).

Career prospects

You will be taught to understand electronic design, electronic fabrication, electrical circuits and principles, analogue and digital electronics, plus more. This will allow you to develop a career in national and multi-national companies, defining, understanding and designing electrical and electronic devices and systems that are found in all aspects of domestic and industrial life.

Outstanding facilities

We recently invested over £70 million into developing the campus, improving our extensive high-tech teaching space, laboratories and workshops, including the STEMLab, which provides additional engineering laboratories, computer-aided design and rapid prototyping facilities, design studios and learning spaces.
