Finding us

Ideally located, our 440 acre campus in Loughborough is easily accessible and offers a choice of overnight accommodation. Come and discover why so many other students have chosen to study with us.

Getting here is really easy and there are a number of different ways you can travel to Loughborough University. For those of you who are travelling to our beautiful campus, you’ll find lots of useful information below to help you get here.

By car‌

We are really close to J23 on the M1 (2 miles). Our postcode for your satnav is LE11 3AJ.‌

Get here early if you can but don’t worry if there is no car parking left on campus. If you would like to park in the town centre, there are regular buses running to the University (approximately every 10-15 minutes). The main town car park is:

The Rushes (LE11 5BG)

Further details and other parking options can be found at www.charnwood.gov.uk/parking

There are three bus stops in Town; The Amber Rooms (a Weatherspoons), is the closest to The Rushes. There is also one by Wilkinsons and one by The Griffin pub.

By rail

From the train station you can catch the Kinch Sprint bus service which will take you to the University campus. The journey takes about 20 minutes. You can also hire a taxi to take you to the University from outside the station.

By coach

There are two National Express coach stops in Loughborough. One is by the Rushes car park and you can get the Kinch Bus to us from the same stop. It also stops right outside our campus, by one of our Halls of Residence – Harry French - and so is another easy way to get here.
