Applications for visiting research students are handled by the Doctoral College Office. This route is for PhD students who are currently enrolled on a Doctoral Programme at another University. 

Prospective applicants should complete a Visiting Research Student Application Form and submit it to the relevant School to be processed.  Applications that are submitted without a School authorisation will not be processed.

Visiting Research Students can begin their visit at Loughborough University on one of the following dates:

• 1 October
• 1 January
• 1 April
• 1 July
